Spumante Falanghina

Grown at our original Montemiletto vineyard in Irpinia, Campania, this wine was historically the favoured wine of the Roman empire. This fresh, dry red is deeply concentrated, high in tannin, revealing an abundance of black fruit, tar, and recognisable earthy flavours. If able to resist being drunk, this ancient wine can be long-lived and worth cellaring for that special occasion.

Very fine and creamy perlage. On the nose there are evident hints of white pulp fruit and floral notes of acacia. On the palate it is complex and fresh with a savoury finish.
